repair Granite (http://tanbrown.org) cracks

We recently were given a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top. In moving deep (nearly through) cracks developed on the narrower front and (http://maplered.com) back portions which cover the sink. We need to move it again and (http://maplered.com) I need to know if I can repair these cracks to help it from totally breaking into two pieces. If it does break how can I reattach the pieces in place as a new Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top to cover the sink. Also is there a way to hide some of the crack once repaired.
